NOTES
 
- ONLY a university degree can be verified by the Korean Consulate (not unaccredited schools, diplomas, or TESOL certificates).
- We only accept documents from those who reside within our jurisdiction.


Required Documents
 
In-person
1. Original university degree
2. A photocopy of university degree which has been notarized by a notary public 
    within our jurisdiction (BC, AB, SK, Yukon, NWT)
This MUST include the followings:
a. Date of Notarization
b. Official Seal of the Notary Public
c. Full name of the Notary Public
d. Signature of the Notary Public
e. Full contact information of the Notary Public including telephone number and address
3. One sealed university transcript (must be most recently issued and it will NOT be 
    returned)
4. Fee: Cdn $4.00 per degree copy (cash only)
5. The applicant’s passport
 


By Mail
1. Original university degree
2. A photocopy of university degree which has been notarized by a notary public 
    within our jurisdiction (BC, AB, SK, Yukon, NWT)
This MUST include the followings:
a. Date of Notarization
b. Official Seal of the Notary Public
c. Full name of the Notary Public
d. Signature of the Notary Public
e. Full contact information of the Notary Public including telephone number and address
3. One sealed university transcript (must be most recently issued and it will NOT be 
    returned)
4. Fee: Cdn $4.00 per copy (A money order only; do not send cash)
5. A photocopy of the information page of the applicant’s passport
6. A return, self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage 
              (Canada Post X-press envelope ONLY)

          If your documents do not meet the above requirements, they will be 
          returned to you without being notarized.

 


By a Third party (If currently residing in Korea)
1. If you currently reside in Korea, you must apply through a representative 
    who resides in our jurisdiction (BC, AB, SK, YUK, NWT)
2. The following additional documents will also need to be submitted:
- A permission letter (signed by the applicant) allowing a chosen representative 
   to act on your behalf
- A photo ID of the representative
- Plus the required documents mentioned above for degree verification
